In conjunction with the learning frameworks, our daily rhythm and curriculum program is formed in collaboration with family input, the child's voice and prior play investigations. Our Teachers and Educators plan and program using an emergent curriculum to extend each child's learning.
Experiences and invitations are play based and open-ended – meaning that children have the opportunity to freely express ideas, ask questions and use their growing imaginations without judgment. There is no right or wrong answer, no pre-determined outcome.
"Play is the foundation of learning, creativity, self- expression and constructive problem-solving. It's how children wrestle with life to make it meaningful" - Susan Linn
Through the use of our Little Tikes app, you are able to access your child/ren's learning portfolios online at any time.
These individual folios contain observations, learning stories, artwork, photographs and other materials.
We love seeing families involvement on our app and encourage comments and input on these posts.

The Early Years Learning Framework‘s vision is for all children to experience play-based learning that is engaging and builds success for life. It is a guide for early childhood educators who work with children from birth to five years. Educators will use this Framework in partnership with families, children’s first and most influential educators, to develop learning programs responsive to children’s ideas, interests, strengths and abilities, and recognise that children learn through their play.

The Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) adopts a comprehensive approach to children’s learning and development from Birth to Eight years. The VEYLDF guides early childhood professionals in Victoria to work together with families in support of their children, embracing and responding to the cultural and linguistic diversity of the Victorian community and diverse approaches to child rearing

My Time, Our Place Framework has been developed to assist educators to provide school age children with opportunities to maximise their potential and develop a foundation for future success in life. This Framework is linked to the Early Years Learning Framework and recognises the importance of social and emotional development and communication in learning through play and leisure, and it forms the foundation for ensuring that children in all school age care settings engage in quality experiences for rich learning, personal development and citizenship opportunities.
